Meet Theresa Wortham, Esq.
Growing up in a family of contractors and carpenters, the smell of sawdust or drywall brings back memories as vivid as my grandmother’s cooking. Real estate development was therefore a natural focus for me when I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2005 and moved to Atlanta.
First at a large corporate law firm, and then as in-house counsel for two of the largest national homebuilders, through the “Great Recession” and high-flying markets, my career has been focused on serving the legal needs of builders, developers, contractors, as well as real estate investors and lenders. I love this business, and I understand it. My clients are like extended family to me. As an advisor and friend, helping bring their projects to life is the most rewarding part of practicing law.
